Quality Assurance

Summary:

A quality assurance is responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the established standards set by the bank. Duties include maintaining strong overall quality control of products made by the bank. Inspection of products is part of the job with the obligation to report and document findings. Valuable skills for this position include strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create quality measurements to track improvement in products.
• Execute quality improvement testing and activities. 
• Develop quality assurance standards and bank processes. 
• Ensure products meet customer expectations and demand. 
• Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing.
• Work closely with the development team to improve existing products. 
• Maintain standards for reliability and performance of production.
• Building test cases 
• Ensuring all features are met and developed by the technical team.
• Conduct full apps/products/websites test including and not limited to: 

1. Smoke Test 
2. Functional Test 
3. UI Test 
4. Stress Test 
5. Non-functional Test 

• Building automation testing platform.
• Conducting API testing
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity.
• Write and optimize small scripts to automate repetitive testing tasks.
• Leverage stress and load testing tools like (Jmeter or Postman) to validate system performance and stability.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in the same field.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or any IT related field.
• Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance.
• Relevant training and/or certifications in QA field is a plus.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
• Strong attention to details.
