ASP Developer

Job Purpose:

Ahli Bank is seeking a highly motivated ASP.NET MVC Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using ASP.NET MVC, with a strong focus on Bootstrap, JavaScript, and LINQ. Your primary goal will be to ensure a seamless user experience across multiple platforms, contributing to the overall success of our digital services.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust web applications using ASP.NET MVC and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Maintain and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and conduct code reviews.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirement gathering to deployment.
•  Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement in development processes.

Skills & Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
•  4 to 5 years of hands-on experience in .NET development, focusing on ASP.NET and C#.
•  Strong understanding of ASP.NET (MVC, Web API) for building web applications and APIs.
•  Experience with both .NET Core and .NET Framework for scalable application development.
•  Proficiency in C# and solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
•  Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap for creating responsive and dynamic user interfaces.
•  Familiarity with Entity Framework and LINQ for data access.
•  Experience with Razor Pages for dynamic web content.
•  Knowledge of SQL Server and ability to write optimized SQL queries and design databases.
•  Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs.
•  Understanding of secure authentication and authorization practices, including OAuth2 and JWT.
•  Familiarity with version control systems, preferably GitHub.
•  Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
